The va totally put in a porch and ramp and walk in shower for my husband who was in a power chair but still partially mobile, free of charge

That’s a big thing! I spent a couple years in a chair after an accident, our home’s 1st floor worked ok for me & basically allowed me my independence; however, it would drive me crazy to go to a store where displays and such were jammed in there I couldn’t get through & I had to rely on someone.
