every worship has 2 conditions. 1. Sincerely for Allah. 2. Following how the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم Taught it. These 2 conditions are taken from the Shahada. The problem with Dhikr in this way is that your opposing the prophet as your worshipping Allah in a way he never taught.
