Yeah but non-hdr videos on iPhones is recording 8bit color instead of 10bit 4:2:0 HDR videos records on so no turning off HDR is not for everyone especially if your iPhone does not have log video option

This has nothing to do with Recording in hdr but in watching hdr. I cant watch those videos on my iphone on tiktok (screen does not go bright) but on Instagram and others i can watch those and the screen goes bright. Even though here on Tiktok is an option to reduce the contrast in hdr videos but it is turned of so it should show hdr. Does anyone know a solution?
