thank you! dogs should have an off switch! this translates to so much as well, it means they can go a day or two without insane exercise if you're sick or something because they can regulate. its not cute or funny or cool if your dog is insane and inconsolable over the slightest stimuli, I wish more people focused on settles, self control, and off switches!

Hi I have a question. Mine don't have a problem doing this except for when we finish playing, I say "it's over" and he tries to take the toy from me. It's so bad that now he somehow senses when I'm about to end it and runs away with the toy. What am I doing wrong? too short playtime? should I just leave the toy with him? (but I'd read that was a no no) He's just pet no formal training but very active and obedient except for that

does wearing the gloves help affirm that it is play time? I notice my dog likes to get rough if I'm wearing my leather gloves because they are like a toy in a lot of ways.
