Looking into purchasing the shogyokuen izumi no shiro matcha. How do you store your matcha in the fridge, cabinet? Also, what temperature and measurements do you recommend for a matcha latte? 👀💕

water temp can have a huge influence on what tasting notes you detect! which may be why you don’t always detect the same flavors other people do.

This is great! I’ve always wanted to learn more about the different types of matcha and how it’s made to discover my preferred flavor profiles, and you just made it that much easier. Thank you!

I personally love matchas from Kagoshima and Yame 🤍 more chocolate, nuttier notes whereas some regions tend to have more floral, vegetal notes

Matcha (green tea) is really a lot similar to coffee beans if you really think about it. Theres distinct flavors and characteristics per region / cultivar
