@cutzbychristiann: heres some blowout insights: ahhh this is one of my favorite cuts to get. Only because I have a flaaaaaat ahhhh back of my head lol the point of a blowout is to keep the back full but the hair at the neck super short. Executing these can be somewhat tough bc we are trying to cut a graduation of short to long in such a small amount of space. I’ve found that setting the blowout shape works best for me when I scoop out with a 2 or 3 depending on density. Like I am trimming a hedge. then shaping it up with clipper over comb. I like to take sloooooow scoop out motions. I used to flick fast but realized I can’t even see what my clipper is doing. Slow c blowouts don’t always come out the same. They’re easier to do on hair that tends to be froish. Whether is curly wavy or straight. If you’re working with rlly straight non voluminous hair on a flat back of head, chances are it might not look like that signature tik tok bay area/carson blowout😭 if the hair is flat it’s probably best to layer and texture the hairs above so you can style it. Blow out without layers above usually looks like a rock lee taper. I’ll make a video about layering above the taper so stay tuned!!! @jrlusa @stylecraftpro

Bro if the hair isn’t curly it will still look fire this is why graduation with shear work needs to happen, these cuts are better executed with the clipper work AFTER the scissor work
