Only the soda stream mix model can carbonate anything, others - water only. Carbonise then add a flavour. Have the same model (terra)

Nooo girl!!! You can’t recarbonate with flavoring in it!! You can only fizz it or refizz it with plain water (filtered). Flavoring can only be added when it’s done!! You will damage your machine and void your warranty!!!

Maybe it’s just overfilled? I’ve never used one but I’ve watched people use it lol, since it’s regular soda maybe fill it halfway or something? Idk it just sounds like it wouldn’t explode out of the bottle like that if it wasn’t filled all the way lol
