Winter sports expert here (stared skiing at 3 and snowboarding at 10) Ski if you want to have fun. You will be likely be able to join or fam on a run or two with just 1 lesson. Snowboarding has an incredibly steep learning curve you will end up banged up on the bunny slopes the entire time. You’ll be luck to stand up longer than 20 seconds snowboarding.

Depends what experience you want. If you ski, you can get down a run your first day. You won’t be able to snowboarding. It’s A LOT of hard falls at first. I do both and prefer boarding but much easier to learn to ski

I snowboard and it took me 3 seasons before I was actually good enough to enjoy myself and keep up with my friends on blue’s and black’s. But I love it so much

I learned how to ski in my 20s and snowboarding in my 30s. Skiing is way easier for Day 1. Snowboarding Day 1 is extremely challenging. You’ll have more fun skiing Day 1!
