In Bulgaria, and generally in Europe, almost no one walks around at home or when visiting others while wearing shoes. It’s not hygienic. I don’t even wash sneakers in the washing machine where I later wash my bed linens or my child’s clothes.

Turkish people take shoes off right at the door , we never go into a house with shoes on. We have many pairs of slippers and we wash the slippers weekly too to keep them clean. Going into a home with shoes on is not in our culture 🙈🩷

Nobody comes into our house with shoes on. Take them off at the door or you can’t come in. I see people who sit on their bed with shoes on. Disgusting. When we come home, we change out of our outdoor clothes, wash our hands and then deal with everything else. Shoes are not allowed indoors.

I think it's only USA that consistently wear shoes in the house. Think it may be starting to change. Never been in Canadian house where you leave your shoes on.

In South Africa, generally we wear same shoes in and outside the house. No problem. I think different strokes for different folks.

we are Malaysian are not practicing such behavior! normal practice in Malaysia we take of the shoe off and wore another slipper for in house used only!

I’m British and I’ve banned shoes on in my house. We have hard floors downstairs but I still don’t want the germs thank youuuuu. Guests, my own children, I don’t care, shoes come off 😂
