Morning Annie, thankyou for taking the time to explain. I feel bad having you talk through this when your voice is not good. Harvey is definitely strong minded. Having a farm and horses is always 24/7 of fixing things it seems like. Please take care of yourself and enjoy your Sunday. We go through the same thing and just when we think all is well and healed or fixed something else happens.

Your doing great young horses are always trying to find a way to give us a heart attack. My young one keeps getting in the hay hut then lays down and gets cast in there. We have been calling him kamikaze Kermit since his name is Kermit. You’re doing everything you can with what you have. I have seen a lot. Worse places where Horses live your place is not a shit show. And I love your new stall for Harvey. And I could borrow your husband to build a few for me like that.

how long have you been horse? i had to see a ent cleaning out chicken coops causes this from a bacteria not sure if mucking horse stalls can cause it too. You may need to be checked out.

you have probably tried but are you the only one there ? Could someone try holding him in a halter in his stall while the others go out? and then make him wait and try to teach him that way? just an idea ! I’m sorry you’re struggling and he hasn’t learned his manners yet 😭 hope you’re okay ❤

Annie I totally get where your coming from. I’m sorry you’re going through this. I’ve been there and it won’t always be this way. Foal are hard you can put them in a padded room and they still will hurt themselves.

ive always thought Appaloosas were spicy!!! my disters horse was and her foal. I was a kid and teenager when I rode with her then later by myself. I live them so much! I love spicy and fun horses!! thats why I love yours so much!!
