So last weekend, we did something very special… we attended our first-ever game convention in China! 🥹🎉 We flew to Shanghai for ChinaJoy, where Loftia was featured at one of the enormous booths on the show floor. The whole experience genuinely felt like a dream come true, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has been part of our community over the past four years and helped us get to this point 💛 Over the four days of the convention, we watched hundreds of people playtest Loftia, explore the world, and enjoy the game with their friends. We even had a stage event introducing some of our NPCs, and met members of our Chinese community who came all the way to ChinaJoy just to play Loftia! Seeing people experience the game in a completely different country and language was felt surreal, and it was a special reminder that games can bring people together across different cultures, languages, and parts of the world! We’re also incredibly grateful to have found amazing partners in China who are helping us bring Loftia to even more players, and we hope this is just the beginning of localizing Loftia for more regions 🌎 ChinaJoy itself was also an incredible experience that left us so inspired! The convention spanned 15 halls filled with huge booths, games, stages, and displays, with almost 500,000 people attending across the four days. We got to see so many incredible games from Chinese developers alongside studios and publishers from around the world. There were many moments where we wondered how the little indie game we started building in our bedroom 4 years ago has ended up here! Loftia will be launching this Fall, in just a few short months! Thank you so much for continuing to follow our journey and helping us bring Loftia to communities around the world.
