The fact that the "NPC," if that's what it was, teleported means the moderator left the session, and so the NPC started running its script. Have you ever wondered why sometimes there are like 25 or 26 of us in the session and your friend can't join?

Undercover R dev here, some time after COVID some of us were given a new tool specifically for moderation. The soul purpose was to inspect playstyle and make note of unwanted aspects of the game. (This was about when we realized flying vehicles were a mistake).

one time me and my hb were doing the union depository job from my auto shop, when we got to the getaway cars we realized that my car was by the beach, being driven at full speed by an "npc", that then slowed down and tried to act casual when we got within sight of him

so I used to work for Blizzard entertainment. I was a GM for world of Warcraft. it was in our policy never to be visible in the world. unless we were helping a support case, we never just walked around. when we did help a support case, we could take over players account. we could control the players accounts. we could add items to remove items. it is in my opinion and most likely the policy of Rockstar that they don't have employees just walking around in-game.

Since we’re on this topic… I was playing Assassin’s Creed on the 360, when I was parkouring along the top of this fence, the same time this NPC was ALSO parkouring over these boxes to get on top of the fence with me… I had never seen anything like it and began to take closer notice… we essentially danced on top of the fence together when I punched him off and I seemingly… all of a sudden struggled to move as precisely as I once was… the NPC turned the corner and as soon as I managed to follow and make the same turn….. he had completely vanished…. To this day… I still think it was mysterious moderator…
