had a cougar brush up against my leg while walking in the mountains when I was about 9 or 10. I peed myself but thankfully the cat just brushed up against me and went back off into the brush off the trail. true story

if a mountain lion can sneak up on another animal, people don't have a chance

mountain lions and cougars are the exact same animal, along with pumas, panthers, and catamounts; they are all common names for the same single species, Puma concolor

That's using the weather for it's gain. Prey can't smell or hear in those conditions

A 16 yr old kid in my town saw a dead deer in his family’s field, he got to close to it and a mountain lion attacked him. Thankfully dad was near and the kid was okay. But mountain lions are so stealthy!

House kitty has the same instincts. Felinus ambush-us. Thats why they like boxes or bags to hide in. From the moment their eyes open, they know to go for the throat. Keep feeding them and we might survive.😳😳
