I BAWLED in the theatre watching The Wild Robot. Even though she's a robot, she acted like a human mother. She did anything and everything for her child like I would do for my boys.

My husband was watching it on a recent flight as well. I woke up to the movie just around the end. And as a parent, zero context, couldn’t hear the movie, but knowing instinctually exactly what was about to happen, good and bad… I lost it!! I locked eyes with my husband, and he too was hiding his tears. We hugged our boy a bit tighter in that moment ❤

It was the first movie we saw in theaters maybe a month after I gave birth to our son, and we couldn’t stop laughing at the ‘newborn’ baby— clearly a 6 month old— and realizing we will never see babies in media the same again 🤣
