I get why it once had this reputation but these days it really isn’t that bad. I can think of several places that are far worse. It’s surrounded by beautiful areas like Windsor and Beaconsfield. Lots of countryside yet easy direct access to London. It had a lot of leisure options these days and has a fair amount of outdoors space. They’re putting more money into the centre of it and redeveloping it too. Yes it has bad parts and yes it still needs cleaning up but it is hated in far too much for what it is
