Full time step mum of a 5 year old. I’m over 3 years deep and we still have our battles where I’m made to feel like an outsider in my own home, yet I love and provide for her as if she were my own… can someone please tell me it gets easier as it’s breaking me… my partner keeps saying “she’s only a child” but my feelings should still be valid, right? 🥺
