@thelifeofthezigsdiy: Somehow, this ended up being the most controversial video I’ve posted to date… In my mind, adding an outlet in the floor was a smart way to hide the cord for my power reclining couch. The internet, however, had a lot of opinions. First, people couldn’t believe how thin my floors were—even though this is how most homes in the U.S. are built. Second, they thought no one would ever buy my house because of a single outlet in the middle of the floor.
