I was let go one week after I gave a 2 week notice. My niece turned in her 2 week notice and her access to her work laptop was immediately blocked

I never thought it was fair to give them any kind of notice they can fire you on the spot but yet you have to give them two weeks notice but in an interview, I always say of course I will give my boss a two weeks notice

I tried to put a two week notice for them to find someone to get train in that position or I could even help train? And the manager told me I can throw my 2 week notice under her door I left the same day as I put my two week notice and left a lot of us when we do a two week notice we're not trying to leave on bad terms, we found a better opportunity. And we took it but realistically, everyone's replaceable, even the president of the united states

Show me where does it say u have two give two weeks notice to a job u hate and not coming back to. It is illegal for your new job to call about ur job performance. They can only ask for the dates .
