I have the capital one venture x card and thy basically pay you to have the card. Once a year you get 300.00 in flight credit plus on your anniversary you get an extra 100.00 flight credit and the annual fee is 395.00 so you get your money back. Capital one also offers .10 cents per dollar on hotels and rental cars through the portal. I’m happy with this card but no shade on the Amex

Platinum is cool. But the Gold is where it’s at. Even the Green card is better than platinum if you’re not traveling a lot. Gold or Green for everyday usage, period.

Fun fact for entertainment get the Disney+ add free bundle and get the Walmart+ for free and thru that get Paramount for free and now you have UFC cards for free (yes all of them even fight nights and major fight all the cards even ppv)

I think it’s a great card but it’s built more like a lifestyle card. If you don’t find yourself already spending this much money on those categories, probably not the best for you. No need to force it if it’s not you

The entertainment credit is $25 a month which means you can bundle like Disney HBO Hulu etc and it'll be about $25. with your free Walmart plus delivery that you get It also gives you free peacock or free Paramount Plus so you basically get for free streaming apps a year with this.

Yes worth it but you have to do plenty of gymnastics to get the credits. My only gripe is the overcrowding at the Centurion lounges, mainly LAX.

You can easily take gold card of amex and you will use the best benefits of all time. Like paying food gas and clothes with amex and then paying it back after +- 45 days and use your points for other benefits
