To make it even worse the world is shifting and changing to the point most people are just in survival mode. Its not even the same world it was 25 years ago. What we value isn't the same. You cant just go to your regular 9 to 5 and expect to own a house and car and pay all the bills and still have leftover for everything else you want in life. Every year it seems to just get a little bit harder and thats really concerning for those of us that have kids. If its this messed up now, where are we gonna be in another 10 years?

Im 18 and have been stuck in my bed for 5 days straight because I feel so lost. I was forced to drop out of my first semester of college, my job is horrible and soul draining and I have no savings because of college. I feel like I watched my future crumble from in front of me, the one I dreamed of my whole life. I feel like I'm drowning, just reaching my hands out for guidance, but I know I can't wait for someone else's help. It is so hard to continue moving forward though.

There is a famous saying by George Bernard “youth is wasted on the young”…meaning the young lack the wisdom to use their youth well , and the old have wisdom but not the youth ..it’s kinda sad because by the time you realise it’s no longer possible 🤷♀️😪

I thought I’d grokked it when I was forty then shit happened and I grew colder, confused again, like wtf, when does it end. Then again, at 51, I thought I got it. But I was wrong. At sixty, I went through hell. Which caused me to dive deeper still. See the thing is, no matter the age, it’s like we’re on the first page. Now I’m near 65 and alls good. I survived. But now I see that every bump, every wave, was exactly in its place. I’m no longer confused—enraged—and I’ve found peace at this stage. But who knows what is to come…but I’m more prepared than when I first begun. Love your work! Keep posting!
