I’m in the dental field and toothpaste is not going to fix those Class 5 decays you need a deep cleaning and fillings. possibly RCTs so yes use the toothpaste but still go get an new patient exam. Your teeth will thank you and save them while you can before it’s too late and they need to be extracted

That is a gingival recession area which means the gums have receded and is now exposing the root of your tooth. You must keep that area very clean with a soft bristled toothbrush, and round circular motions instead of scrubbing back-and-forth, which can make it worse. The root of the tooth is much softer than the part that has the hard protective enamel and tends to get cavities easier. Your dentist will watch that area closely and if it gets too deep or sensitive they will put a class 5 tooth colored filling. 🦷

The key is using a circular preferably electric toothbrush with soft bristles and using gentle circular motions brushing for about 2 minutes not more because you don’t want gum erosion but doing it 2 times a day with FLUORIDE toothpaste you also need to FLOSS before you go to sleep

Part of the damage is also due to your toothbrush technique. A hard back and forth motion wears the teeth at the gum line because the tooth structure is weaker. Gentle circular motion and soft bristle brush
