In Europe, Fords such as the Fiesta, Focus, Mondeo, were often seen as setting the benchmark in their class and Customers remained loyal, buying each new generation. The decision to basically abandon those segments and buyers makes little financial sense.

Oh so they can't compete with the Japanese? Ford really is screwed cuz Chinese Brands are gaining a lot of traction worldwide and they offer a lot more value for a lower price than the Japanese.

They’ll make more money, honestly. Pickups are their bread and butter. If they focus their energy on improving that segment, they can make real gains, especially by building a better, more affordable, and more efficient truck for the average working person. That’s where their strongest demand and brand loyalty already are, so doubling down there just makes smart business sense.

Offering full product? Yet they only sell Everest Ranger and Explorer in most countries. Unlike Hyundai and Toyota. Even Mazda has more car offers than Fors in most countries.
