I saved a baby sandhill that was injured i gave him to a local wildlife center and they healed and released him

There’s an abandoned golf course in my area and we get SO many Sandhills. Like groups of 20-30 standing in the middle of the fields this morning. I love hearing huge groups of them fly overhead. I could listen to them and watch them all day.

my son told my granddaughter when she was about four that these were space chickens. She is 20 now and we both still call them space chickens. 😁
