I love Tachyon's character so much man. I don't think enough people realize just how hard it is on the mind to constantly be looking out for and preparing for your own downfall. And its not just being forced to retire, its being forced to give up on your dream and what makes you yourself. I think there's a line in Cafe's career where Tachyon says she "gave up on being an Umamusume". It's no wonder she immediately started spiraling in the movie, in her mind once the "in my place" line set in, she may as well have stopped existing. Truly, a rose that was never able to blossom
