@avondale783: I don’t know what else I can do to help my baby. I had tried top steroid, many different moisturiser, changed fomular, cotton clothes, bamboo bed sheets, no soap for bath. His diet is no beef, no egg, no gluten, no seafood. I have tried everything you can think of. My baby now is 19 months old and he had this eczema since 2 months old. We have stopped the steroid 12 months ago. #baby #ezcema #topicalsteroidwithdrawal

This is going to sound harsh but my nephews went through the same thing and they did bleach baths one a week. Now you’re not bathing your baby in bleach lol it’s like a very small amount in bath water. Research it first of course I hope he gets some relief soon 😢

My grandmother swore by goats milk products, even drinking goats milk. My cousin suffered severely and Nan always had goats milk soaps and lotions. Most chemists sell them. Give it a go. Poor baby. 💕

I commented on a similar post. But I swear by the stuff. It’s cow udder cream. My niece had eczema really bad and nothing would touch it. My sister used this cream and within a few days you could see the difference. It’s been around a year now and you’d never tell my niece has eczema.

It’s a gut issue. You would need to cut carbs, dairy and sugar. They’re the main culprits.

Stay away from any product containing too much water, my daughter has Eczema and has been on a Cortisone Cream all her life which helps a lot (Epimax Cream Tup and mix a tube of Dovate Cream together) then apply to the entire body.

Eczema and allergies go hand in hand. Go get tested. My poor granddaughter had eczema so bad she looked like a burn victim 😥

When my son had it a quarter filled a tight/ socking with porridge oats and put it in the bath…. Sounds daft but my nanna told me to do this and it would clear up and hey presto it did…. Worth a try, nothing worse than seeing your child

Paediatric dermatologist at a children’s hospital. My son was the same, it started when he was about a month old and we tried everything. I changed my diet (for the breastmilk), switched to a formula for allergies, tried different lotions, etc. The appointment with the paediatric dermatologist had me bring in a list of everything we’d tried, it was four pages typed. She put him on two topic medications and within 10 days, his skin was clear. He’s now 18 and occasionally gets flares but a couple days of the same topical treatment and his skin is clear again.

Do you have pets? Our son was covered in eczema as a baby and we discovered he was allergic to our cat. Allergy testing is what helped us heal him.
