What happened? They are severely short on staff and he is not a white man. If a middle age white man complains about chest pains, they take him in right away. That’s what happened, it’s not a great mystery. I hope the family sues.

In the US, people complaining of chest pain are triaged and moved up in priority, usually 1st. In Canada, with their amazing free Healthcare, there was probably a board of trustees reviewing his file on the top floor conference room to see if he was worthy of free health care. Apparently they declined his free health care. God speed my man.
