one time i entered a contest for a trip to disney and i was one of the finalists and my mom prank called me saying i won, i got so excited and ran over to my neighbors house to tell her and everyone was laughing at me 🙃 i’m almost 30 and i still remember

Low key feel the same about parents who *kill* their elf on the shelf to *teach* their kids a lesson. Like it’s not traumatizing to turn something they LOVE and something they believe is alive into a pile of bones or ask. I got soooo much hate for when I told people my elf excuses toddlers from the no touching rule because they’re innocent . The latter being a video of hysterical children and a beyond scared confused toddler because the toddler didn’t understand the no touch rule.
