@monstrofarm: This Monstera is feeling so much better now. With a new pot, it finally has room to grow and with the cedar plank, it has the support it needs. One of the biggest mistakes people make when repotting is choosing a pot that’s too big. Extra soil holds extra moisture, which slows root growth and invites rot. And for that reason I only step up my plants 1–2 inches at a time—it keeps the roots healthy and the plant stable. A chunky, well-draining mix helps oxygen reach the roots, plenty of bright light keeps growth tight and healthy, and I wait to water until the soil is about 50% dry. Sometimes plants don’t need more… They just need the right setup.

How do you keep the white parts from browning? I brought mine home and keep it under a grow light for 12 hrs a day but it still browns. I just repotted into a chunky soil mix. Any tips?
