I think that there isn’t a best ac game, each has its best parts: parkour: 1,2,brotherhood,revelations. Combat: animations go to syndicate,3,4 and rogue but overall combat to the RPGs (including mirage because imo it’s underrated af, really fun if you know what to do) stealth goes to syndicate and world goes to odyssey/origins

I personally wasn’t a fan of AC 1 I actually kinda dropped the game and didn’t think I’d come back till ACII but that the FIRST game has been skipped over for a remake THREE times is wild

I'm playing through AC 1 for the first time and i am shocked at how well it genuinely holds up. I love the parkour system and the city is great. the story is a bit meh but I enjoy the general gameplay loop. I think it shines in the world design and the parkour which I wasn't expecting in the slightest
