Letting companies fail is literally free market capitalism. Unfortunately, letting bigger companies buy the failing companies up and creating monopolies is also free market capitalism.

Totally for that! People are brainwashed in this country in taking the side of those who abuse and take advantage of them. What the hell?

Govt takes over the company so people don't lose their jobs. CSuite gets fired and govt keeps profits until loan is paid off.

Congress has created the “too big to fail” economic landscape we now live in. By ignoring their responsibilities they have not only allowed, but actively abetted, these concentration of goods and services that require government bail outs when they fail or have been mismanaged. In almost every case it is those that are on the bottom that pay the price for the decision makers and then of course the decision makers award themselves bonuses, losing nothing, for doing such a great job of shedding the very people that do the actual work.

Let them all fail! Look what happened to ford a Chevrolet. They should have failed and the the government bailed them out, got more say in those companies and now they produce shit products. Let the new take its place.

Crazy to me, the leaders of these companies tend to get rewarded. Why should we bail out the top half of the companies. The assets like the planes and the people don't just disappear. This guy is right.

Immoral would be to allow these zillionaires to keep getting bailouts while people struggle to make ends meet at month's end. Workers run the world. Take the power back.

What the anchor is arguing for is protecting a few dozen rich people making the decisions, and punish the thousands of people who had little to no say in the administration of the business.

We keep bailing out these billionaires and get nothing in return for our tax dollars. Capitalism leads to some businesses succeeding and failing. If they like the system so much, let the system play out.
