DoorDash screwed me last night. Stacking two orders for $10 for 3 miles. I accepted and picked up little Caesars. Then DoorDash canceled the other order leaving me with the Little Caesars that I didn’t know what it paid until I dropped it off. $3.50 with no tip. So of course I told the customer what I felt about him.

I’m not gonna lie it all sounds good until you actually get out there. Here’s my taking. I pray that everybody listens to this cause I keep seeing all these people on here talking about the same exact thing. I’m all about the numbers what people fail the realizes that I don’t care nobody say they lied to you every order and everything gets taken, and I do believe it’s a strategy see how I used to know fall for all of that I did, but here’s what I find out for one if you wait for that perfect order you’re never gonna make money and I’ve ran across several people that do that motto and then I tell them how much money that I make versus what money they make and they’re halftime, they don’t even believe me, ladies and gentlemen, if you listen this, and it doesn’t get taken down, I’m talking about to the neighborhood of $70,000 and more when I really push it almost $90,000 I’m not bullshitting. I never made that type of money in my entire life now do I make that no I don’t have to but push come to shove and I really want to push it to that level. I can do that and one thing I don’t do is sit around and wait for that perfect order because here’s what happens. The one you miss could be the one that’s gonna set you up for the big deal from my tips and me just all in all going grind and going ham on everything I make the money. I don’t never have to worry about it on a good day as long as I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing whether somebody think it’s the wrong pick up or what I always get set up and it’s so it’s a straight algorithm. I may hit one bad one and hit four or five good ones and tips on top of that. Don’t let nobody tell you wait on that order that perfect cause it’ll never it’ll never be right because you’ll pick that one and it’ll be dry after that you don’t sit around there and wait for the perfect one you grab you be aggressive and you’re gonna make the money cause every time I come across somebody and Uber Driver and I’ll tell them how much I make versus what they make and they look at me like I’m crazy because I don’t play about this. I’m not gonna sit up here and lie to nobody. You waited all day. I’m gonna be there one taking the money that you sh

I don’t take anything under 5 and I won’t take anything where the mileage is higher than the pay. I decline a lot of orders. My acceptance rate is around 30-50 because of it. Acceptance rate doesn’t matter. DD wants you to think it matters so you will take the shit orders. Don’t fall for it.

first thing I look at is $, then if that's good I look at the address and see if it's a home or apartment.. I deline 99% of apartments bc I dash overnight hours those are problem areas.

Seems like almost every time it is lying about what it expects the driver to realistically do in what will likely be a moderately populated city. I mean I cannot drive any miles in a city in the same amount of minutes thats not real. And it hurts the % ratings on timely deliveries

All of the shop for them orders are a no go. They think 5 bucks for a shopping trip for 5 plus items and 2-5 miles is acceptable

I avoid dashing at peak traffic hours, here it's between 4 pm to 6 pm so I usually do morning/afternoon from 930 to 3ish or 6 to 10ish and that gets me my goal per set of dashes

How do you all stay platinum if declining lots of orders? Acceptance rate matters. Or do you. It feel platinum matters? I’ve noticed a significant increase in higher paying orders since I’ve been platinum and 6/6 pro shopper. I am averaging $28 an hour last month

I always tip more because I know how much gas cost but always wondered does DD give the driver the actual tip amount I put. I heard they don't 😩
