There should be expectations in a classroom; however, this teacher is exclusively focusing on Spanish speakers.If she were saying that no one is allowed to speak any other language but French, then I would agree with the teacher. But saying that more than half the students in the classroom don't speak Spanish, then she's wrong bcz she's not focusing on them speaking French. It seems that these students are also antagonizing the teacher bcz if she has spoken to them previously, then they're also in the wrong. no one needs to consistently remind them as they are not in elementary or middle school.

“It’s unfair to other people” how is it their fault those kids don’t speak Spanish?!? I’m 48 years old and i used to not speak in Spanish cause i was afraid of being told this, but now i speak Spanish out in public on purpose…PROUD AND LOUD!!

im with teacher. at home fine. in school should be english. they could be sharing answers, talking about others(bullying), and etc. so yes shoukd not be allowed in the united states schools. she knew better. can tell from tone

Spanish people to do that a lot, especially even the workplace. There’s no problem speaking another language. But there’s something I have with some of them are lacking off
