Hi 15 yr vet tech here. I’m so sorry you’re going through this I know how helpless you feel. All GP vets can do is bloodwork & X-rays, if results are unremarkable they should refer to neuro for consult. I do recommend you see a neurologist. I also recommend potentially testing him for the MDR1 gene mutation. Read about it. My dog that passed away had it. He had focal seizures when he was given the same medications his sister would take with no issue. Again, I know this is so scary but there ARE diagnostics that can be done for answers. It won’t be cheap. I pray you have insurance. But don’t panic. I can hear how upset you are, I was in this exact same place. But I promise, you will figure this out. 1. Neurologist 2. Discuss MDR1 & ask them to test him.

my girl had this, and it took 3 years to find out what the vets were so confused. turns out she needed wheat free food. and was having seizure type episodes because of it. just incase this help hun x

Get rid of any candles, wax melts, plug in air fresheners, my XL bully had idiopathic head tremors for over a year until I got rid of all those listed and she’s never had one since. You can help distract your dog with a treat or some honey on toast xx

A mi perrito le pasaba empezó moviendo la cabeza y luego todo el cuerpo, lo llevé a neurólogo y no le encontraron nada! Luego vi un vídeo de un perrito con algo similar y era que se le bajaba el azúcar, le daba miel cuando tenía los ataques esos involuntarios y se le quitaba! Lo intenté con mi perro y me funcionó. Nada pierdes con intentarlo, dale un poquito de miel y me cuentas cómo le va!

definitely stop his wormer and flea treatment, as the flea component can cause neurological issues. opt for a more gentle flea or just natural flea treatments that are non toxic.

hola a mi perrito le da lo mismo dicen que es por estrés post traumatico ya que fue un perrito maltratado pero también podría ser por algun problema en el cerebro nosotros le damos estas pastillas
