I’ve been riding since 1982 and road raced all over the country in the 80’s. I’d say I have a lot of experience. My educated guess to why you crashed has nothing to do with trail breaking or loose gravel. Your after market exhaust is hanging to low. Once it touched the ground, it took pressure off of your rear wheel and you crashed. Look for an exhaust that exits higher on the bike so that doesn’t happen again. Sometimes foot pegs can also touch down slightly resulting in same reason for a crash.

Luckily you get to learn from this one! Nothing makes you respect the machine and your life more than a survived crash!!

Comes with the territory. Brakeing and coasting while in a hard lean is a bad combo.

When you wreck like this, is the bike durable enough to let it sit for half an hr and then run again? Curious, when we roll jeeps we just let the oil settle and start again if nothing major breaks.

glad you are okay. I recommend heading to the track so you can really push it and be a lot safer!

Dayum bro, glad you're OK. Hope your bike wasn't too badly damaged. That is my absolute worse fear is going down in a lean.
