It sounds silly, but when you think about it, imagine you’re a poor, traumatized kid living on your own. You spend whatever money you have on some fries you were excited for. You get up and leave for a bit, maybe to go to the bathroom, and when you come back you see your dad, who abandoned you and only pops in and out of your life occasionally, absolutely tearing up your fries. I’d crash out too.
