Two Worlds :

As a convert/ revert you can still enjoy time with your family. Although Christmas should be about Mary and Jesus (both big in the Quran), it is more a commercial party nowadays. Join in the meal, have Salmon instead of non-halal meat. Islam talks about living, working and being with the People of the Book (Jews and christians). Relax and Enjoy.
