I don't purchase my vinyl records and CDs just because of the music, it's more than that. There's more art that lays within the physical albums, not just the music. Many (like me) also don't constantly play them since it would get tiring doing so all the time, so I both collect and listen to music on streaming platforms. It's just a very cool hobby I personally like to have and probably many others as well. They're cool to look at, they come with beautiful drawings, color schemes, photoshoot pictures, sometimes signatures, other inclusions, and of course the music. I feel like I appreciate the effort that goes into the whole project more when I have a physical copy of it.

i know it’s crazy but a lot of ppl don’t listen to albums like i only rlly listen to albums and i found out that most ppl irl don’t listen to albums they just play songs 😭

Modern albums don’t be albums. People just put singles together. Albums that are made to be played as an album are soooo good.
