My MIL passed on April 1st. I told my husband “I hope nobody thinks my post about her passing is an April fools joke” Dark humor is the best. 😂

My partner passed almost a month ago, it was my birthday on Valentine’s Day and I felt the need to buy a bunch of Tulips while I was at the supermarket getting myself some snacks, on the walk home from the shop it clicked in my head, he loved the joke ‘what’s better than daffodils on a piano’

I bought my mom a winter hat in her favorite color for Christmas, I never got to give it to her bc she passed away before we were able to see eachother. I wear it now and I always feel close to her even though she knew knew the hat even exsisted. She would have looked beautiful in it

I had gotten her some cool shirts when she was in the hospital and sadly she passed away so I had her clothing made into a quilt and I included those shirts. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I searched for this Jiminy Cricket color book from the late 50s that my mom would talk about often. I FINALLY found it in Sept 2019. She died in Aug & now the book is at my dad's with her ashes sitting on it.

I got my stepdad a plush blanket with a golf course on it bc he loved golf and he was always complaining about being cold. Now my mom has it and she’s experiencing heat flashes so she hates it right now 😂
