@heathdogtrainer: How do I stop my dog digging holes in the garden? If your lawn looks like it’s been attacked overnight, this is for you. Digging is a normal dog behaviour. Dogs dig because of instinct, breed traits, scent, cooling down, boredom, or stress. Trying to stop digging by telling dogs off usually makes it worse. What actually works is redirection — giving dogs a legal place to dig so they don’t need to destroy the garden. In this video I explain: • why dogs dig holes • which breeds are more likely to dig • how to stop garden digging without punishment • why a sandpit works so well If your dog digs, they’re not being naughty — they’re doing what dogs were bred to do. 💬 Comment DIGGING and I’ll send you the full guide: digging in the garden, digging under fences, puppies that dig, and the best enrichment swaps. 🌱 Save this if your grass is already losing the battle. #DogTraining #dogdigging #dogbehaviour #stopdogdigging #puppytraining
