I just say- you have two parents. Go ask the other one. And I say it loudly enough that my husband hears me so I make a point to BOTH of them 😅

it also never ends. if you are the default parent for the first 2 years it's ingrained in them forever. I work away regularly. I'm out of the house more. but still, they call for me 😂

Maybe while you and your husband are both at home and you're trying to do something and the kids are coming at you he could step in and say hey mom's doing something right now let me help solve your problem and then that way they get used to having him help as well.

My daughter will be sat next to my husband and she will get up and actively come to find me to ask for a snack or just about any issue that he would be more than able to solve! Every single time! 🤯

or when he’s home she just wants to play independently and mind her business and be an angel, he left for work today and she stayed up until 3am and cried most the day after he left🥲 i know she just misses him but LAWD give mama a break PLEASE

Oh my god! SAME! My husband always says "but I can do it while watching her, why can't you?!" - IT'S NOT THE SAME! Plus he just shoved the TV on and let's that parent her instead..!
