Okay my one question is - isn’t the whole point of eat play sleep so that they don’t learn to feed to sleep? And then need to eat to fall back asleep in the middle of the night? That was the issue with my first and I totally feel like it was related to me not doing eat play sleep. But idk!!! I have a 7 week old now so would love to hear your thoughts

How are you getting your babies to sleep in their bassinets? Mine is 8 weeks old and cries every time we try to lay him down, and will do this for hours. We’ve tried it all. He absolutely despises being swaddled, and just wants to sleep on us or in his swing 😭 I’m nervous he’ll never be ok with moving into his bassinet or a crib

I love your content SO much. Can you talk about how you set your baby down for a nap in their crib or bassinet? My baby is 12 weeks and she still hasn’t taken a nap that’s in the carrier or in my arms—every time we set her down to nap she stays awake😭

I was so unprepared last time and we lived 5 mins from the hospital so I was sending husband home regularly for things. Yes!! So tired of the strict eat play sleep routine lol it make no sense once wake windows are longer!! My youngest is 2 months old right now and we do the exact same thing! You learn so much with your first it's crazy

I fully agree! I ebf both of my babies and always feed on demand. I don't care if they ate 20 min ago, if they want to nurse again they can.

Just curious why you don’t let your NB nap longer than 2 hours? We are a week in and she likes to sleep between 3-5 hours at a time. Weight is not an issue

Why are we changing diapers in between feed if they are just going right back on to eat? Do you have to change them a second time? So 2 changes for a 50 min feed window?
