Salomé🧚🏻 :
Honestly, female founder here, and thank you for this. This doesn’t mean I don’t love dressing up or beautiful things, or that these women don’t deserve their success, because they absolutely do. The aesthetic is powerful. It’s polished. It’s inspiring. I get why it exists. But sometimes, when you scroll, it feels like all female founders start to look the same. And I keep wondering, are we slowly watering down our uniqueness to fit a version of success that performs well online?
And this isn’t just about founders. It applies to female influencers too. Some of us have a different style. A different rhythm. A different way of showing up. And that doesn’t make us any less serious, successful, or ambitious. My first two years in business, I wore a camo baseball cap and no makeup. Not because I didn’t care, but because I was building. Because building takes energy. And sometimes there’s none left to get ready.
I just crave more uniqueness. More real stories. More room for women to look, work, and succeed in different ways. ❤️
