People online be lying making it seem like you can throw a couple thousand dollars into dividend stocks and magically make $4,000 a month. To make that kind of money consistently from dividends alone, you usually need hundreds of thousands to over a million dollars invested depending on the yield. Most safe dividend stocks only pay around 2–5%. The super high dividend payouts people brag about are usually risky, unstable, or the stock itself is tanking. Real wealth building is boring, slow, consistent investing and building actual cash flow first, not these fake passive income fantasies folks be selling online.
