Listen I’m 31. I have literally 18 cents in my bank account. I went back to school at 29 and luckily married a blue collar worker who makes alotttt. I’m not doing well financially currently but I know that will change. Nobody has it all together don’t forget that.

What do you want to know? We have $442k on the mortgage and about $60k total between my truck and the Tesla. Credit cards are typically paid off monthly. We keep $10k in savings, and anything above that gets moved into investments. If there’s anything else you want to know, just ask.

Split your bills weekly or bi weekly, it keeps your cash flow steady and makes it easier to budget. Start with an excel budget tool, Etsy sells templates pretty cheap (like a few bucks). Credit cards are for emergencies until you are able to manage money. I pay mine off monthly and get cash back benefits but when I was young I was crazy in debt because of them. Brand name doesn’t mean quality and no one truly cares what brands you wear. Don’t budget too strict if you don’t have to, enjoy the coffee and eat out every now and again. You’re meant to enjoy life and you can’t take money with you when you die.

169k total it’s awful and we’re just here surviving. But hey I’m not in the abusive relationship that put me in that spot, I take debt over that relationship any day.

$900 in credit cards, $32k in student loans, $7,000 in savings and $650 in checkings. 629 credit score (majorly messed it up in my early 20s) want to live comfortably and pay all my debt off, no longer living paycheck to paycheck so small wins are happening
