As someone that has ape hangers on his bike. Ape hangers don’t make a bike hard to handle if you get ape hangers that fit you. Ape hangers come in all sizes and I think people tend to forget this

Agreed! My husband bought his RG with the 16” apes which he thought he’d have to change out for slightly lower. He absolutely loved them as is, he’s a tall dude with a bad shoulder so they get him in the perfect position for comfort. He never would have went that tall initially if the bike he fell in love with didn’t already have them.
