@ludjacques1: Chocoflan (Chocolate Flan Cake) Ingredients Caramel • ½ cup sugar Chocolate Cake Layer • 1 box chocolate cake mix • Ingredients listed on the box (usually eggs, oil, water) Flan Layer • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk • 4 large eggs • 1 tbsp vanilla extract • 1 pinch salt ⸻ Instructions 1. Make the caramel • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar until golden brown. • Carefully pour caramel into a bundt pan, tilting to coat the bottom evenly. Set aside. 2. Prepare the cake batter • Mix the chocolate cake batter according to the box instructions. • Pour the batter gently over the hardened caramel. 3. Prepare the flan • In a blender, combine condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla, and salt. • Blend until smooth. • Slowly pour the flan mixture over the cake batter. 4. Bake • Cover the bundt pan tightly with foil. • Place the pan inside a larger baking dish. • Add hot water to the larger dish (water bath) about halfway up the sides. • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 60–75 minutes, until a knife inserted comes out mostly clean. Or you can bake the flan for 60 minutes and after you add the chocolate cake . 5. Cool & chill • Remove from water bath and let cool completely. • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. 6. Unmold • Run a knife around the edges. • Invert onto a serving plate and let the caramel drizzle over the cake.#cake #chocolate #chocoflan #chocoflancake #baker
