Omg we kind of have the same superstitions. No laundry or sweeping coz ur washing and sweeping the luck away. We can’t serve any bottom sea dwellers so no shrimp or lobsters and also nothin that can fly or has wings. Always serve something sweet, something sticky and something long. Sweet so family will stay together, sticky for luck will stick and family stays together and long for long life. 🥰
