I’m really sad. This is happening to him. It’s only been two years and he’s rapidly fading.

Their relationship was never confusing. At the very least, she has children with him and the stress of divorcing would have killed him faster. This is the father of her children and she's spent a considerable amount of time being married to him. This is what a good person does.

My dad had this. I feel like his is bulbar like my dads. Which tends to be a more rapid decline. My dad was gone within the year but he also wanted no measures to prolong his life. I feel for his kids and it’s unlike any disease most with experience. You are thankful for another day but dread it because they lose something else and by the time you process that loss you something else that is gone. Sending so many thought to his family. This is horrendous.

I took care of my Mom. She was finally diagnosed maybe a year or 2 after symptoms started. She was diagnosed in September and was gone in December. ALS is horribly brutal but I always listen to Eric’s speech and I can kind of tell where he is. ALS needs so much more awareness and testing.

My MIL died from ALS, it’s a terrible disease, it’s terrible for the family to watch your loved one go through that as well. I hope for more research to be done to one day find a cure for this.

Praying for them all. As a speech therapist I am sure they are banking his voice which will help him communicate and mean so much to their children later 💙

You can still have love for someone but no longer want to be romantically involved with a person. Its the other persons’ problem if their confused.

And for everybody complaining about the gofundme, when you have money like that, it's usually tied up in trust When you pass away and also nurses, 24/7 insurance does not pay for that
