As someone who has an ill parent, in a similar position I feel their pain. I know how hard it is to watch your parent decline, and change for the worst. I think the most heartbreaking part about it all, is knowing that they hate themselves for being ill. ☹️

Just lost my brother in June after a 4 year battle. My only advice is don’t look ahead. Take each day as it comes. Everyone goes through it differently, but the end is bad for everyone. Enjoy each day. And, hospice. Engage hospice. There is a special place in heaven for those workers.
