as someone who had somewhat unrestricted internet access as a child (codes on the family computer and my kindle but i figured out the code for the kindle and i had my own phone when i was 12) ...PREACH !!!! when i have kids theyre not getting any devices of their own until i have a serious sit down about how dangerous the internet can be and why they need to watch what they do, say, etc on the internet

my kids (pre-teen and teens) are on social media. it's their choice. I don't need people to censor themselves. I need people to provide a contrasting opinion to my own...and I've fostered a relationship where my kids can talk to me about what they encounter. I also don't believe in a right or wrong way to parent (beyond the requirements established by DCS).

I have seen so much of "31🔄" shit here. Are parents not teaching children to not go and say their age online?? Isn't that taught in the school? Or telling people their city. Like, it's fine if you tell people that you live in,idk London or Berlin or another big city. But small town when you already told them your name?? Children are setting themselves on silver plates for groomers ect. Social media should be 14-15 up and that's with some supervision.
